ELIGIBILITY:
Open
to all Golden Bears members and
prospective members.
RANGE:
The Match is fired at 100 Yards
START TIME:
Set-up beginning at 7:30 AM. Match
begins at 8:15 AM.
COURSE
OF FIRE:
National Match Highpower Rifle reduced course. Club matches are 50 shots for record, NRA matches are 80 shots.
STAGE 1:
10 shots Standing Slow fire + 2
sighting in shots, 12 minutes (or 20 shots in 22 minutes for NRA), SR-1 target.
STAGE 2:
10 shots Rapid Fire + 2 sighters,
Sitting or Kneeling, 60 Seconds, SR-1 target. (Two strings during NRA matches)
STAGE 3:
10 shots Rapid Fire + 2 sighters, Prone, 70 Seconds, SR-21 target. (Two strings during NRA matches)
STAGE 4:
20 shots Slow Fire Prone + 2 sighters, 22
Minutes, MR-31 target.
ENTRY FEE:
$10 members, $15 non-members, ($15 for all in NRA matches).
RIFLES
& SIGHTS:
Must be Center Fire .22 cal or larger, Iron
Sights (CA legal AR15, M1 Garand, 1903 Springfield, Military Mauser,
etc.)
RULES:
Current NRA Highpower Rifle Rules shall govern
the match.
SQUADDING:
Starts at 7:30 AM at Fort Angeles, a private range located just to the west of the Angeles Ranges public firing line.
OTHER:
An additional match or practice time is generally available after the primary match.
